Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Hosts the “Research and Academic Services Reform (USAIL)” Project to Strengthen Researcher Capabilities

Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), through its Research and Development Institute, organized the "Research and Academic Services Reform (USAIL)" project to enhance researchers' capacity in developing proposals for the National Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (BPC). The event was held on February 10-11, 2025, at the Srinakorn Conference Room, Khum Phucome Hotel, Chiang Mai.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Uthen Kamnan, Acting President of RMUTL, with Assistant Professor Dr. Nopporn Phatchaprakiti, Director of the Research and Development Institute, delivering the project objectives. The event also featured a keynote by Assistant Professor Dr. Pongsakorn Phichayadorn, Strategy Coordinator from the National Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (BPC), who shared insights and strategies for fostering research that meets the needs of both the industrial sector and society.

The program was attended by more than 60 researchers from RMUTL’s six campuses and various business representatives.

The USAIL project aims to raise awareness and enhance research skills focused on addressing national strategic goals in areas such as:
